Blackpool's District Commissioner

I'm writing to advise members of the District that after 9 years Steve has indicated he wishes to retire as District Commissioner at the AGM in June. Steve's good humour, commitment and ability have combined to ensure that Blackpool has been led well. The District has strengthened and Steve leaves a strong platform for his successor to build upon.

We will have opportunities to properly thank Steve, and Margaret over the coming months. In the meantime I would confirm that I have asked your District Chairman, Peter Greathead to form a small search committee to advise me on my appointment. I will write in the near future to outline this process and how all members of the District can participate in it.
